Have you looked into your past lately? Have you felt feelings of regret or guilt? I have. Recently I listen to a most incredible speaker Les Brown. His laugh just makes you smile lol.

IUntitled design (2)n one of his speeches he talks about forgiveness so you may grow. I have heard of this you may have even tried it. But not until today have I really envisioned the past me and looked into her eyes and told her she is forgiven. That her decisions at that moment where made when she did pr have all the facts or even not at the right time.

Today I worked on forgiveness and I feel like it has made a difference in how I look at life. Almost like that weight you carry around for so long that you forgot that it was there is suddenly gone and you can’t believe you were holding all that.

I challenge you to think of your self, see your eyes and say “I forgive you” and just be with those words.

In the modern world we have an abundance of ersatz products. Not due to the war, but rather as a result of corporate greed to make commodities in great volume but at low cost and quality. I’ve complied a short list:

  1. Imitation cheese slices
  2. “Juice” containing only 5% fruit juice what is the rest of it made from?
  3. Juice named after a fruit but composed of mainly apple juice (pomegranate and blueberry are where I encounter this most often)
  4. Fish Sticks- these are of some type of Osteichthyes of unknown providence
  5. Fat Free, Low Fat, Reduced Fat anything- I generally interpret that to mean chemical shit…

Who are you?

If she only knew

Hi I am Jessica! As a health and wellness coach I walk you through discovering and setting your goals. We will use realistic ways to achieve them and you will have my support at all times. I understand that life is busy and sometimes overwhelming and that starting and finishing something will be no small feat. I know this firsthand because I am on my own path to living a healthy life that is designed by me not someone else.
I found my calling through Beachbody 4 months ago as a coach and each month is a new level of fulfillment. Every day I discover more about why I have made the decisions in life that lead me to be obese. What my triggers are for overeating and how I can combat them. I have been obese since childhood and still hold on to that hurt. Through personal development (one of the 3 vital behaviors of a BB coach) I have come to realize I have a vast amount of knowledge that I wear as a shield and with coaching both of others and from others I am slowly starting to lay down that shield and use what I know to succeed in life.
Some moments have frustrations to keep me on my toes but hey that’s life right, nothing is ever perfect. I feel we all deserve to accomplish our dreams be it weight loss, strength, or just understanding your habits. Watching someone realize that they are deserving is one of the reasons coaching makes me feel in tune with life. Another reason coaching is amazing for me is when I can help to lift someone up, lend my hand to help them reach their goal. When you realize you can and do deserve to have your dreams a fire is started inside, it may dim or feel cool at times but it never goes out. If I told you you could drink one shake every day and regulate your blood sugar reduce cravings for junk food (I’m not saying eliminate them it gives you the ability to turn them down easier and overtime) your junk food habit to be replaced today health food have it.

I decided how much I would pay because I knew this investment would yield unlimited returns.

I started my journey at 292 we might as well say 300 pounds Yikes 300 pounds. And after two and a half rounds because *I’m still in the middle of the third) I have lost 30 pounds I am 30 pounds closer to my goal I am 30 pound happier I am 30 pounds of less fat.

I feel like I found the best way to obtain my dreams. It’s because of being a Beachbody coach because they give you the three things that you should do every day and it’s only three things.

have the most nutritious meals a day which is Shakeology and workout

work on personal development

encourage others to join you on your journey so they can start theirs.

Autumn gives you the easiest plan the most common sense plan to follow. you workout 30 minutes everyday it is different workout everyday so if you don’t like that work out you only have to do it two more times in your round and then it’s done see how easy is that. but you’re going to love to work out because autumn is super motivating and she makes it so anybody even 300 400 500 pound people can try this and move forward to being able to be fit.

Then she gives you an eating plan and it was is what everybody has been telling you to do eat sensible eat within your portions. But you’re not counting calories you are counting containers and if she says you get four yellow containers you decide what to fill them with and you eat them for the day. There is no eating what you don’t like there is no counting calories, there is just eating food and feeling like a normal person going about their day and not somebody on a diet

If you’ve tried as many times as I have your understand it sucks to be the person on the diet. When you go out with your friends and it sucks to be the person on the diet at work

But with 21 day fix you don’t feel like you’re on a diet you feel like you are on the way to  changing your life and that is more important.

What you learn in the Garden!

20150705_105323  The Husband and I were weeding the garden today and I was thinking as I pulled out crabgrass from my garden everywhere! That the crab grass or weeds are like a bad habit!  When you find the crabgrass it sprouts up and it has a huge root system underneath. But if you just take some effort and dig down a little deeper you can pull up all the roots and the weed will not grow back as easily. I thought wow that’s kind of like not eating healthy or not exercising.


I’m pulling out all these weeds by hand, digging my hands deep inside the soil, getting my nails dirty (that’s something I really just do not like it just stays with me for the entire day) but if I had a little trowel or a little rake it would make the job easier, tedious but easier.  You still have to dig down deep and you still have to pull hard but you get more results with the little trowel.
I thought that’s what it’s like to have a Beachbody program and a coach. You have a coach that will help you reach down deep and pull out the roots of bad eating and not exercising and then a program to follow. So the small habits, the small healthy habits that you had, like the wonderful vegetable plants I am weeding around. Will now shine brighter, will grow stronger and take deeper roots even more than bad habit weeds.


Garden Update!!

I told you it would be in full swing by June!

It is and I have even picked a few things. Had a salad from the greens and sauteed the first zucchine!

Summer is for tanks


Its summertime and I am wearing a racerback tank top so why is that so amazing because I’ve never worn a tank top really out in public ever in my entire life probably maybe when I was 5 I never felt comfortable enough to do so not that I’m any thinner than I was when I was 5 or you know any age basically but I am thinner than I was in February and I am stronger than I was in February.
I love this I think my shoulders look really nice I’m excited I am wearing a tank top for summer time and I walked into my mom and I walked into other stores and I feel good about myself I really feel good about myself I don’t worry about whether I’m the fat girl anymore I just worry about whether I’m doing my small stuff everyday you should too you should feel this good you should feel like you are something because you only get one chance in life to do anything you only get one life one moment to shine don’t hide yourself I don’t want to hide anymore.

Thankfully Yours !!!


I wanted to start writing down three things every day that I’m thankful for. So I suggested this to my husband that we put it on the refrigerator and he is not ready for it yet because he needs to come to it on his own, which is perfectly fine. But one of the things I’m thankful for is that in our conversation he said “you have gone through a complete emotional and mental changes in the last few months”.
And I’m thankful because someone else actually realize that I did and said it out loud.

I wasn’t quite sure that I actually did until he said it and I have been looking back on it now and I really have changed. I completely changed how I view life. I know deep in my heart that I would not be down 25 pounds and kept it off if it wasn’t for that mental change. I know I had to break down those walls and just say OK I am going to explore my reasons why and own them and then figure out what I need to do to improve upon. I just have to let go of the fear or wall and take each day at a time. Because it’s not about controlling your life it’s about enjoying the one you have we only get one life.

Classic style

I love Carolina Herrera.

There’s just something about all of her designs that are classic and gorgeous and comfortable looking even being high fashion.
I think that’s what I always wanted to be is comfortable and high fashion I know that kind of like not the way to tour work but I never really wanted to fit into anything anyway.

So I’m reading this book called the Slight Edge and it is a really good book it really shows you how to be a successful person without having to do the grand gesture or have instantaneous success. Because an instant success doesn’t last for long and I’m not really interested in burning out.
Everyday I get up and I drink my shakeology and I do work out at some point in the day and everyday I read 10 pages or I listen to a podcast that improves me as a person. And taking those tiny steps just like Jeff says in his book is what makes the difference.

All the beach body training I have seen is about consistency, consistently living your purpose your truth. And I know that I tend not to show everybody my truth or really believing it myself but I think it’s because I let myself get distracted.

I really want to stop that so an exercise from the book is to list who you would like to emulate.

I have chosen a few people Carolina Herrera is one of them Coco Chanel and Mindy Lawhorn. These women have persevered through many struggles and I can relate to that I think everyone can relate to that it’s just finding who aligned with your current values and who you would like to be as a person and not who you’ve shoved yourself into being.
I wrote another blog post about not fitting and it wasn’t about not fitting in with the in crowd or anything like that it was about stifling myself to continue living the life I’m living instead of letting myself truly be who I meant to be and taking on the world.
I would love every person on this planet to decide that that’s what they would like to do is to live their true self and I think through fitness and exercise even though it’s scary is a way to explore who you really are. Because when you are not healthy person and you are exercising for the first time or again you are at your most vulnerable you really have to motivate yourself and focus past your own abilities and past your fears and continue on. And that really in itself is is taking little steps towards success and sometimes we just do not realize that we actually are doing.


I would like to propose a call to action my friends, I’m going to start my first fitness challenge group on July 6th it’s a Monday and I want you to contact me if you’re interested. I’m not going to ask you to buy something and I’m not going to ask you to do something you don’t want to do I’m just asking you to be who you want to be and not who you think you should have been. And if you decide that you would like to join the challenge group after talking to me then that’s wonderful and if you decide that maybe you’re just not ready that’s great too because you took a step in the positive direction you took a step in looking at yourself in a different light. I just have so much to give and I really want people to know that..
